RYA Day Skipper Sail
The course to learn all berthing manoeuvres and to take responsibility as skipper for day trips.
The skipper has the responsibility for the safety of the yacht and crew. A skipper must master all landing maneuvers and special maneuvers such as Man on board and Anchoring on sail.
Oosterschede estuary – a big plus
We start our courses on the beautiful tidal Oosterschelde estuary, were we can sail to other harbors, do tidal navigation exercises and wit the North sea just behind de Oosterschelde bridge we can be at sea whenever we like to do trips to other cles by coastal harbors and want to do exercises in open water. However with strong on shore winds the estuary offers all possibilities to cover all aspects of the program. This is unique for our location and a big differentiator compared to all other sailing schools around
