About us

We are a private organisation specialised in theoretical and practical navigation courses for people who want to learn to cruise or to navigate at a professional level. NaviClass is more than just a navigation school: it is a recognised RYA training centre!
The training scheme of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) is internationally recognisedas the best in its category. The standards required to be recognised by the RYA, are very high and are annually inspected.

History:

2000 : Foundation of NaviClass
2003 : Recognised by the RYA as a training centre (unique in Belgium)
2004 : European quality label CEDEO for professional trainings (first in Belgium)
2004 : Recognised by the Flemish Community as a training provider (first in Belgium)
2005 : RYA Recognition for SRC trainings (Uk )
2007 : RYA Recognition for Sea survival trainings
2007 : Recognition for BIPT for SRC trainings (Belgium)
2008 : Recognition for ISAF safety course ( unique in Belgium)
2008 : RYA Recognition for radar trainings
2009 : International ISO 9001 quality label (unique in the Benelux)

Our instructors are professional skippers and teachers, specialised in their field. They have not only been strictly selected for their technical knowledge, but also for their patience, spontaneity and friendliness.
